The 5 Private health checks you need

Here at Correct Osteo Clinic we have an extensive range of private health and blood tests.

Sue from the wellbeing clinic is a MSc level practitioner, and she has studied pre-clinical medicine. She has BSc/ MSc degrees in both Physiology (2:1 Bristol university) and Health Management (Warwick Business School).

This coupling of medical and business knowledge allows her to train businesses & individuals on the importance of wellbeing, as well as to work with individuals on a 1:1 basis to improve their health & wellbeing. This includes conducting Health Checks, Private Blood Tests e.g. Well Man & Well Woman tests to check all key health markers, and administration of Vitamin Injections, IV drips and allergy / intolerance tests.

Here Sue goes through her 5 most popular private health checks.

  1. Wellman/woman blood test – This test includes liver and kidney function, full blood count, iron levels, uric acid levels, cholesterol profile, blood glucose, (diabetes risk HbA1c), inflammation, magnesium, vitamin B12, vitamin D, folate and testosterone levels, and a lot more. “This really is the most comprehensive health check we do, and is our most popular.”
  2. Vitamin B12 Test – “A lot of people have low Vitamin B12, so this is important to understand your B12 levels. This is amazing for boosting your energy levels.” B12 can help with your sleep, mood, memory and metabolism, and even helps reduce anxiety and depression.
  3. Food/allergy test -“This takes a small sample of blood from the finger and gets sent to a laboratory, giving the patient a huge list of potential answers”. Here is where the IGg inflammatory response is compared to 200 food and drink items. Similarly the allergy test checks against 17 environmental allergens, looking at IgE markers. This determines what allergies you may have, like grass, cat and dog dander, trees and dust mites to name a few.
  4. Health assessment/M.O.T – Discussion around health and lifestyle with physiological assessments of heart rhythm (ECG), blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, lung function (peak flow test) and finger prick test for blood glucose (HbA1c) & cholesterol levels with instant results and report. “A good all round health assessment.”
  5. NAD+ at home – “We understand that your time is precious and you’d rather bid farewell to lengthy clinic visits and scheduling hassles.” This is the ultimate solution to effortlessly boost your NAD+ levels. NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living organisms. It is an essential molecule involved in various important processes and it plays a vital role in energy balance, promotion, and enhancement of cells, among other functions. NAD+ has also been linked to potential benefits for improved mental clarity, athletic performance, deep sleep and longevity, which has generated significant interest in the field of health and wellness. ” With the added bonus of being able to do this yourself at home, this empowers you to prioritise your well-being on your own terms, making it super simple.”
