Tom Chapman

Tom is a Physiotherapist who graduated with a Distinction in his Master’s degree from Anglia Ruskin University. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and brings a unique combination of clinical training and two decades of leadership experience to the clinic. Tom’s journey into health and human performance began at the University of Exeter, where he earned a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Recently, he was selected to be part of the National Institute for Health and Care Research Insight Academy, which has funded his participation in a Masters in Research at the University of Essex.

Prior to his career in Physiotherapy, Tom spent twenty years in the education sector, where he served as a Subject Leader of Physical Education. This extensive background has equipped him with advanced skills in communication and the ability to explain complex health information clearly to his patients. His passion for the profession also extends to global leadership; he serves as the Global Physiotherapy Lead for the Planetary Health Report Card, focusing on integrating sustainability into healthcare education.

Tom has gained diverse clinical experience in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Trauma & Orthopaedics, and Neuro-rehabilitation. This broad exposure allows him to treat a wide variety of conditions with a focus on evidence-based assessment and treatment. He believes that effective rehabilitation is rooted in strong clinical reasoning and patient-centred care to help patients continue doing the things they love.

Tom’s goal is to empower his patients to manage their health autonomously and return to the activities they enjoy. Whether helping someone recover from surgery or managing everyday aches and pains, he is dedicated to providing tailored care to restore function and improve the well-being of every individual he treats.
